The
Model BV60 Brodie Control Valves (download
data sheet) are back pressure regulators designed to
maintain a specific minimum upstream pressure regardless of
fluctuations in flow rate or downstream pressure. When
correctly installed and adjusted, the Model BV60 valve will
maintain up-stream pressure at a value within 5 PSI (34.48 kPa)
of the valve pilot setting. A minimum pressure differential
across the valve of 15 PSI (103 kPa) is required for it to
fully open.

The Model BV88 Digital Control
Valve (download
data sheet) is designed to provide precise flow rate control
and batch delivery of fluid products when used with an electronic
batch control device. The valve is automatically controlled by
the electronic preset for low flow start-up, high flow rate
control, low flow shutdown, and final shut-off. This also
provides for maximum flowmeter accuracy by maintaining a constant
flow rate with varying line pressures. The Model BV88 features an
external pilot control loop that consists of a normally-open
solenoid pilot, a normally-closed solenoid pilot, strainer, and
opening/closing speed controls. CENELEC/ATEX approved solenoid
valves are optionally available.
